Descrição
Sua espécie é gaviãozinho. Possui a penugem do corpo preta, e a do rosto, bege com detalhes pretos ao redor dos olhos, cabelos preto-acinzentados e bico marrom-profundo.
Ele é subtenente no Exército de Poulon. Servindo desde 1990, pertence à 79ª Infantaria e ao Quarto Batalhão.
Em seu cargo, é considerado um tanto rude e talvez sarcástico, mas principalmente rígido, em especial ao usar de abordagem coletiva para resolver certas questões: em vez de conversar a sós com quem está causando problemas, a unidade inteira deve ouvir, para deixar tudo às claras. Dentro das Forças Armadas, por uma questão de costume, ele chama os recrutas por seu número de registro.
Relações
Como parte do Exército de Poulon, no período em que se passa a série, cuida dos seguintes grupos: os Pinguins da Costa Oeste, os Planadores Brancos, os Defensores Verde-Oliva, os Anjos Destemidos e os Asas de Fogo.

Gus Gumps is part of the Poulon's Army cast in Jack & Jackie. He first appears in Season 1, at the episode "Giant".

Description
Gumps is a pearl kite. He has black feathers on his body and beige feathers on his face, with black markings around his eyes, blackish-gray hair and very-dark-brown beak.
He's Second Lieutenant at Poulon's Army. On duty since 1990, he belongs to the 79th Infantry and the Fourth Battalion.
Regarding his position, he's considered a bit rude and maybe sarcastic, but mostly harsh, especially when using collective approach to solve certain matters: insted of talking solely with the subject who's causing trouble, all the unit has to listen, to make it as clear as possible. Within the Military Forces, as a measure of habit, he calls all the privates by their enrollment numbers.

As part of Poulon's Army, at the time period this series happens, he's responsible for the following groups: the West Coast Penguins, the Chalk Gliders, the Olive Defenders, the Fearless Angels and the Fire Wings.
