Preston

Preston Anaheim is part of the Poulon's Army cast in Jack & Jackie. He first appears in Season 1, at the episode "Giant".

Description

Preston is an Adélie penguin. He has gray feathers on the back and white feathers on the front, black hair and dark-orange beak.

Relations

Regarding his own group, it's the most reasonable (and the most recent member) of the four. Respects Stan as a leader, but chooses to ignore his constant complaints; watches and learns a lot with Cameron, altough sometimes thinking he's a bit arrogant (which is true); and has good interactions with Rick, fearing for him when he tries to practice more dangerous things. In general, he likes them, but not exactly agrees with their beliefs.

Regarding other soldiers on the base, he gets along with everyone and is an excellent private, inspired by the group on the dorm in front of his, the Fire Wings. He also talks to Billy fairly frequently.

At the episode "Letters", he's the one who says to the Fire Wings they can take their instruments for the mission in East Thermopolis. He also jokes a bit with how Jack demonstrated his happiness earlier: seeing him interact with his guitar, Preston thought he was "already involved with another guitar shape". Before the bus leaves, he can be seen talking to Billy.

At the episode "Blackbird", when Jack and Morris leave to take a breath, he can also be seen outside, apparently exchanging confidences on his cellphone.

At the episode "Pride Feathers", he's seen dancing and interacting with Billy, indicating they have a closer relationship.

Trivia

• His name, species, visuals and behavior (and, in a certain way, his Army category) are a nod to the character Private, from the Madagascar Penguins franchise.


• His last name, "Anaheim", is the name of a city in California, at the West Coast of the United States, doing justice to the name of the group, West Coast Penguins.
